To our Espire players - we are happy to report that we have just launched a hotfix for the frame rate issues that were introduced with the recent Quest 'v49' OS release.
A shout out to the Espire 2 team who worked hard to re-write and test "Espire's HUD" system in order to avoid the OS bug. As a result, Espire 2 is now running on the current v49 Quest firmware with much better performance.
Even with these considerable performance gains there are still some edge cases where we are seeing frame rates impacted. We expect these remaining issues to be resolved with the release of the Quest v50 OS update. Thanks to Meta's great engineers for helping us fix this issue.
