Welcome to the new Killing Floor 3 Official Forums

KF3 is a very, very big deal for many of us who have been fighting the zed horde to save the world for such a long time now in KF2 and I am very excited for the new war to come. Friends have been notified, PC's will be upgraded, and clans will be preparing for what is to come. What dropped at Gamescom this year was absolutely amazing. My jaw dropped...and a Crovel Survival Tool was totally required for me to pick it up off of the floor.

As for what I would like to see, I have already made a video about this on my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9GdRcDHN9QMK82xYrHpbbw so I won't go into fine detail here. But I will say that I seriously hope that melee combat remains a staple and is evolved to even greater heights in Killing Floor 3 (finishing moves...give us finishing moves PLEASE). 😉

I'd like to extend a giant "Thank You" to all of the developers who are making the third entry possible. There are many of us that only lurk on these forums, and nearly all of our work regarding this franchise is done elsewhere, but I just wanted to pop in and make a contribution to this thread.

Rest assured, Fire Salamander and those who follow him will be there on day one to bring the fight to the zed horde as they have always done.
Thanks again Tripwire. This is the biggest news of the year to us.

Do in kf3 will be supported Nanite and Lumen? What about custom maps and mods support / do SDK will be on game release?
And, if somebody know, what size standarts are used in level design. (The size of square tile, player, zed, doors and another stuff)
Just for know what to prepare for if will be released SDK with game ❤️

As far as I know, it is not easy to develop mods in Unreal 5, and mods provide vitality for KF, so I would like to ask whether KF3 supports the use and expansion of SDK, although this is very heavy.
I suppose it depends on the developer and if they want to create the tools, like TW did for KF1/2. I'm no expert but take a look at how Ark: Survival Ascended, which is using UE5, is doing mods. It's using Curseforge and mods are available through the actual game, rather than Steam Workshop (although both are great IMO). It likely won't be day one but I would be extremely surprised if TW didn't support mods for KF3.
